Leu & Helfenstein AG is managed by a four-person management team. Roland Leu and Rafael Ullrich are co-managing directors of the company with 30 employees.

First bullet trap obligatory: BLB 2000 receives installation approval from the DDPS.

Roland Leu joins the Leu & Helfenstein team and from now on works in the commercial vehicle department.

Convincing in system and technology: Customers in switzerland and abroad have great demand for shooting ranges and their equipment. For assemblies in Chile, Iraq or Algeria, the employees travel to distant countries and cultures.

The first construction hall is built at the present headquarters in Längmatt in St. Erhard.

Product development progresses rapidly: The first granulate bullet trap is assembled in Rheintal.

Conversion of the simple partnership into a stock corporation: Fritz Leu acquires a stake and starts a second business segment with the authorized MAN service center.

The first apprentice is successfully trained, many more will follow and appreciate the company as a reliable, social employer.

Small caliber, pistol and hunting targets are being developed. Interested shooting clubs want 300 m target pulls. We develop, design and finally assemble them.

A washing machine motor is used to create the first powered crossbow target in the basement at home.

Xaver Leu, a locksmith, and Karl Helfenstein, an electrician, both technically interested and eager to experiment, found "Leu and Helfenstein" in Schenkon.
